WHY DOES PHYSICS APPEAR HARD TO LEARN?
Reasons:
1)
Students should not have followed
concepts and techniques during teaching in a class in high school or lecture in the university level.
2)
Follow up would have not have been
proceeded systematically from the beginning.
3)
Proper unit conversions would not
have been applied to solve problems.
4)
Formulas and given data would not
have been correlated properly .
5)
Systematic free-body diagrams for
a given problem like vector representation, path of light rays etc would not have been drawn for related problems.
REMEDY
1)
Convert the laws into equations or
formulas.
2)
Practice the problems using equations
or formulas drawing free-body diagram.
3)
Since all topics are interrelated
from the beginning, the beginning concept should never be lost.
4)
In case of necessity, have help with
an experienced expert tutor for perfect learning to do homework, prepare for quiz/exam.
ANALYSIS
During my observations in tutoring, students find it difficult to correlate the given data with standard equations
or formulas.
They get confused to draw free-body diagrams like vector directions, path of light rays etc.
Sometimes complicated calculations using scientific or graphing calculator have been done by applying wrong order
of operations.
